Samsung Develops a Custom GPU That Can Match Apple

The quality of the smartphone graphic on the smart device is now almost the same as seen on the console. The popularity of chewing is increasing and generating millions of Dollars each to developers. So the GPU on smartphones is now in power. According to the EE Times report, Samsung is developing its own custom GPU which can not only be used on smart devices but on computers.

The Samsung GPU is the first to use a new design over the last decade. It is believed to be first used on Samsung’s Exynos processor. All this time Samsung uses the ARM release GPUs on all of their processors.

Chien-Ping Lu who has served on NVIDIA and MediaTek is responsible for developing this latest generation GPU. Its graphics capability is believed to be putting Samsung’s chip on par with the Apple mobile chips that are now the most powerful in the market.
